Monday on my mind....

Morning, World,

The auditors are scheduled to come again at work. Nice ladies, but, they make chaos of my day and mind while they are there. I have to pull rabbits out of the hat for them all day and it is exhausting. On the positive side, I think they are mostly done and probably I won't do the audit next year. I will be close to retirement and the baton should be passed on. Been through about 10 good job years of audits and I am still a wreak that I won't find that one invoice or dividend statement the auditors want and I will "fail" the audit.

Two other projects on my desk today. Have to finish up a Disaster Plan for presentation to the Library Board tonight. And, I need to at least get started on the aforementioned comfortable cats article for the Newsletter (should be fun and I will provide a link in April when it is published). I bet you thought working in a library was no stress, right.

On the home front, I am working on St. Pat's cards, my Letter Loving journal, taking an online doodling class and excitedly waiting for Tim Holtz's Chemistry 101 Online Class to start next Tuesday. For once in my life, I actually have some (and enough) of each of the products he has on his supply list. I'm good to go. Oh, and working on my A to Z Challenge topics. EEEEk!

Let's have a wonderful Monday no matter what we do and thanks for stopping by.

A Newsletter Article

I am struggling with an article for my Library's newsletter. No big deal, but of course my mind is off on so many other things right now that I am finding it hard to just sit and output. I've got lots of neat cat photos to go with the article- it will ultimately be about how cats eventually take over all the best furniture in the house, including the humans, who weren't furniture before they adopted cats, but are now. I need to make it lighthearted and funny in spots and I thought if I warmed up here, maybe words would drip out of my fingertips and populate my page.

I'll let you know how things go.

Have a wonderful weekend, if I don't stop in again before Monday. Thanks for visiting.

So far this week, on Sunday I saw my first robin, on Tuesday my first grey heron, and yesterday my first red winged blackbird.
It has been ridiculously warm here in lower New York State and animals, birds, trees and flowers are thinking it is April instead of early March.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that we don't suffer for all this beautiful weather a little later in the spring..
