Our Local Arboretum...

This is a tulip!
Gary and I treated ourselves to a walk in our local arboretum a few Saturdays ago. Our weather patterns have been a little off here in lower New York State. Due to a few late frosts and a very dry spring, the tulips were not at their best, but, we managed to get some great color shots despite the ragged petals. Hope you enjoy.

I love wisteria.

My parents live in an older neighborhood downstate and I have always been impressed by the azalea display every spring. Thos tulips are beautiful! Love it when there is dark purple mixed in.

Thank you for the comments. It was a beautiful temperate day- since then it has been chilly, windy and often rainy. We lucked out.
